Allen West Calls for New Crusade to Take Back White House for Christianity

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Former GOP congressman Allen West this week posted on his website that the White House had been claimed by Islam and called for fellow Christians to join him in a ‘Crusade’ to Washington D.C. to take it back for Christianity by force.

“Folks, we cannot stand by and let our nation’s symbol of truth, justice, and the American way be co-opted by the false faith of Islam,” he wrote. “Therefore I urge all God-fearing, Christian, American patriots to grab their guns and swords and join me on a Holy Crusade to take back the White House in the name of Jesus!”

West’s call came after the words “bismallah al-Rahman al-Rahim” were spoken in the White House Rose Garden by the father of recently-freed American POW Bowe Bergdahl. Mr. Bergdahl spoke the common Arabic phrase during President Obama’s announcement of his son’s release, saying that he feared the years in captivity may have made it difficult for the POW to understand English.

The phrase can be translated as meaning “in the name of God, most gracious, most compassionate.’ West claimed that by speaking those words, Bergdahl’s father was sanctifying the White House and claiming it for Islam.

“Now that the White House is considered Islamic territory, what’s next? How long before our women are wearing burkas and Sharia Law reigns?” asked West. “If we don’t sever that man’s head from his body and consecrate the Rose Garden with his blood in the name of Christ, then the terrorists have won!”

“Folks, there is a lot to this whole episode — like Benghazi — that we may never know. And this is not conspiracy theory, it is truth based upon Arabic and Islamic dogma and tradition,” said West. “They have stolen the White House out from under our very eyes, and Obama let it happen! As Christians, we have a sacred duty to raid Washington and cleanse it of Islamic blood! It’s what God demands!”

West then urged all Christians to purchase his book, ‘Guardian of the Republic,’ which he said would explain everything in more detail.
