Bill Koenig Suggests Relocating Gays Across The Nation To “Control Weather”

“If one conservative political reporter is to be believed, the devastating drought in California may have something to do with the state’s support of same-sex marriage and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights.

“One would imagine that anyone working for World Watch Daily, a “biblically relevant” news site that focuses on the White House, the Middle East and Israel, wouldn’t have the most open mind. It’s no surprise, then, that in an interview with Understanding the Times with Jan Markell, the site’s Bill Koenig suggests the Golden State’s ongoing, four-year drought is just one example of how America is living in an “unchartered” time and a period of divine “judgment” from God, Right Wing Watch first reported.

““We’ve got a state that, over and over again, will go against the word of God, that will continually take positions on marriage and abortion and on a lot of things that are just completely opposed to the Scriptures. Unfortunately, a lot of times when it starts in California, it spreads to the rest of the country and even spreads to the rest of the world,” he said. “So there very likely could be a drought component to this judgment.”

After his comments set the Internet on fire, Newslo reached out to Koenig exclusively and asked him to elaborate on his views. In an exclusive interview, he stated that “there must be some right in every wrong, and so too should we focus on the positive aspects of what is going on right now.”

He said: “What I mean is we need to think outside the box and try to use this to our advantage. Think about it – if I’m right and God is punishing the state of California with extreme droughts and fires because of its position on LGBT rights, then the most obvious solution would be to relocate gay people to areas that are suffering from severe floods and heavy rains. That way, we’d be killing two birds with one stone.”

Koenig also added: “Makes sense, right? That way, we’d be the closest we’ll ever get to controlling the weather, and consequentially, counteracting the effects of global warning, which, mind you, is caused by our bad daily habits in the first place.”
