On Friday, Fox News host Tucker Carlson and right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones proved that great minds really do think alike. The men took to Jones’s popular radio show—available only on the internet—to share their views on race and politics in 21st century America, and the discussion was, as always, enlightening.
According to Carlson and Jones, the Democratic Party is just an updated version of the Ku Klux Klan—only “with minorities.”
Jones—whose many conspiracy theories include one about the government creating tornados with “weather weapons”—explained that, starting in the 1960s, Democrats have made a conscious effort to “go race politic with the minorities, [and] make them the majority.”
Fair enough—but Jones went on to explain the terrible consequences of the Democrats’ plan. “‘We as Republicans, as Libertarians, or as white people’ are made to feel guilty and ‘beat ourselves with whips on the head’ for being white,” he said.
In a sentence likely to confuse all but the most agile minds, Jones proclaimed that “the Democrats have just recreated the Ku Klux Klan movement, but they’ve done it with minorities.”
“Yeah, there’s a lot of truth in that,” Carlson heartily agreed. “I wish there weren’t. I mean, there’s no question that the country is more race conscious than it was when I was a kid. I thought we were moving away…I mean, I hate segregation.”
No prominent Democrats have yet emerged to refute Jones and Carlson’s theory—further proof of their evil, segregationist ways.
