“Sarah Palin wafted a word cloud about Donald Trump that seems to imply she supports his presidential campaign. The former half-term governor of Alaska and failed vice presidential candidate appeared Tuesday evening on Greta Van Susteren’s Fox News program, where she praised Trump’s proposal to end birthright citizenship – as spelled out by the 14th Amendment, reported Mediaite. “He’s talking big picture, of course, plus specifics, thankfully – more specifics than any other candidate, by the way,” Palin said.
“Palin said liberals deliberately had misrepresented Trump’s proposal to make Republicans appear “heartless” toward children born in the U.S. to immigrant parents, but she suggested the GOP’s platform on traditional marriage might encourage those children to self-deport along with their parents. “If their parents broke the law and they’re here illegally, they then need to get back in line and because family is a unit,” Palin said. “Greta, the family sticks together, and the kids have to get in line with their mom and dad.”
“That’s exactly why the children of immigrants need to be good American citizens and help their American government deport their illegally-present parents back to the countries from which they came,” Palin continued. “I mean, it’s like I just said – families are units and they need to do what’s best for each member. So, when it comes to the future of their children, immigrants should know better than to object to being deported back when that will mean their children will have a better future.”
Palin then went on to say that “the same should apply for kids of illegal immigrants.” “It’s essential they realize that they have nothing to gain by objecting to the deportation of their parents. It simply has to be done because it’s the right thing to do. They have a choice – either they can stay in America alone and build their own future or they can go back with their parents and hope they can survive. It sounds harsh, but it’s the truth.”
“They need to start acting more like Americans and less like immigrants,” she added. “We need their brainpower and they need our Western fornication, hypocrisy and unfairness of capitalism. I didn’t make the rules, Greta, that’s just how the world works.”
