“Houston, Texas – U.S. Sen. Cruz, R-Texas, recently released a statement regarding the arrest of Kentucky clerk Kim Davis. “Today, judicial lawlessness crossed into judicial tyranny. Today, for the first time ever, the government arrested a Christian woman for living according to her faith. This is wrong. This is not America. I stand with Kim Davis. Unequivocally. I stand with every American that the Obama Administration is trying to force to choose between honoring his or her faith or complying with a lawless court option.”
“The statement also said: “In dissent, Chief Justice Roberts rightly observed that the Court’s marriage opinion has nothing to do with the Constitution. Justice Scalia observed that the Court’s opinion was so contrary to law that state and local officials would choose to defy it. Where is the call for President Obama to resign from ignoring and defying our immigration laws, our welfare reform laws, and even his own Obamacare? I call upon every believer, every Constitutionalist, every lover of liberty to stand with Kim Davis. Stop the persecution now.”
Cruz’s statement has echoed through the media in the United States and the world with such strength and vigor that millions of people, predominantly from the Middle East, have already started their long journey across many countries and several continents with the United States as their final destination. “We are responding to Sen. Cruz’s cry,” said a Syrian man with his family. “We know that the world is thinking that we’re running away from the war in our country, but we’re actually going to America because we know they need our help there.”
When asked to comment on the fact that millions worldwide have answered his call, Cruz stated, “They are welcome here. They recognized the honesty and hardship in my words and they are coming to our aid. People who have been struggling all their lives cannot be lied to, they won’t allow it. That’s why they are the kind of people we need to have here.”
While European countries are swarming with wave after wave of migrants, who are referred to as refugees or illegal aliens, most of them say that Europe is just a stop on their way to the New World. And even though a great majority of the people who are travelling to the U.S. are Muslim, they have no doubt that there is more than enough room for them in the predominantly Christian United States.
“It’s a big country, surely there will be room for all of us there,” one man said. “After all, Sen. Cruz said that he was calling for people to support religious values; he did not say which religion he had in mind. So, it’s a done deal, as far as we’re concerned. He can’t go back on his word or he’ll never become president.”
