“Washington, D.C. – In what the Republicans are labeling as an “imperial presidency”, Barrack Obama has promised to take executive action on immigration. Obama’s move to provide relief to millions of illegal immigrants with legislative action, coupled with the implementation of the 2010 health-care law, is proving to be a huge thorn in the GOP’s eye.
“A House lawsuit has been set in motion in an attempt to counteract the President’s move.
“Speaker of the House, John Boehner (R), justifies the suit by saying that “if this president can get away with making his own laws, future presidents will have the ability to as well. The House has an obligation to stand up for the Constitution, and that is exactly why we are pursuing this course of action”.
“The suit was filed in the US District Court for the District of Columbia. This federal courthouse is where most battles between the legislative and executive branches are resolved.
When it comes to the White House, it would seem that taking matters to court has had an effect on the president.
According to an unnamed source in the residence, Obama invited the Republican Party representatives to a private meeting, in which he plans to bury the hatchet.
Apparently, the President has come up with a proposition that would benefit all parties (literally), while at the same time bringing the Democrats and Republicans back together again. The plan is to abolish the implementation of Obamacare for American citizens completely, except for illegal immigrants. That way, both sides will get what they wanted.
“It’s true; I’ve thought about it for a while and came to the conclusion that this is the only possible compromise for all parties involved. The immigrants will have free health-care, and in return, I will leave them to their destiny” President Obama said in an interview with Newslo. He also added: “I wasn’t too keen on seeing a judge, anyway.”
