The last remaining question about the recent presidential debate was whether former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin would post a factually challenged defense of Donald Trump refusing to say whether he would accept the results of the November election. And indeed, in a Facebook rant about the debate, Palin attacked the media for criticizing Trump for saying he will keep the country “in suspense” when it comes to accepting the final election results.
“I get why they’re going after Donald Trump; I get why they want to take him down so bad; I also get why they’re attacking him using every little bit they’re able to find against him. But what I don’t get is why they’re going after him for having the guts to state his opinion loudly and clearly. Wasn’t that the whole point of this country?” Palin posted to Facebook. And sure enough, the comments started coming in by the bucketloads.
Asked to comment on her logic-free Facebook rant, Palin told Fox News that Trump’s irrational fear of getting cheated out of the presidency “has a lot to do” with the recent audio recording that has him talking about “grabbing women by the pu**y” just because he’s famous. “He’s used to taking cheap shots because of the kind of work he does, but that was just too low below the belt,” Palin said. “I’ve never seen him so shaken up before. And keep in mind we’re talking about a self-made billionaire here. Those guys don’t ever get shaken up. So you kind of see why this is such a big deal to me.”
“I know he keeps it in and doesn’t let it show, but he’s hurting and he’s hurting bad,” she continued. “And not just him personally, his family is also very upset over something he said when he wasn’t even married to his current wife. Besides, it doesn’t even make sense, at all. One look at any picture of Donald Trump anywhere from any point in time, present or past, is enough to realize that he is the type of man who would do anything for his family no matter what. If you ask me, I think that audio recording is fake. There is no way Donald Trump is a groper.”
“I’m serious, just look at that thick, long wavy hair, and his healthy pink skin and tiny eyes – the man is the spitting image of honesty and trustworthiness. I’m baffled as to how anyone in their right mind would ever believe Donald Trump is a sexual predator or whatever they’re calling him nowadays. That’s just appalling. And I’ll tell you something else – I’m a married woman, but if I wasn’t, I’d be all over him. He’s very attractive regardless of the fact that he’s in his 70s. He’s incredibly vital. So, I get that a lot of people are jealous of him. In my eyes he’ll forever be the handsome, blonde president America deserves,” she concluded.
