In recent days, Pat Robertson has declared that opponents of Donald Trump are enemies of God and God’s plan for America, and he’s been particularly worried about witches who he said are trying to put curses on the president. Recently, a “700 Club” viewer asked him “why so many people do not support” Trump and his drive to “Make America Great Again,” and Robertson again claimed that resistance to Trump is motivated by Satan. According to Robertson, while Trump’s election represented God giving America a “reprieve” from judgment, Trump’s opponents are doing the bidding of Satan, who wants to destroy America.
“If you just factor in everything that you know and we know about the entire history of this country and especially everything that’s been going on in the past 8 or 10 years, it’s very easy to see that Barack Obama was actually an emissary of Satan himself,” Robertson opined. “Some of the things he’s done to this country won’t ever be able to go away, that’s how much he’s damaged us and our future. But, luckily, God saw to it that he gets kicked out of the White House and replaced him with an emissary of his own. Make no mistake, my fellow Americans, Donald Trump will clean this land of all the Satan’s filth, but he won’t be able to do it alone. He’ll need our help to accomplish this daunting task, and our job will be to allow him to be President long enough to finish the job.”
He continued, “The problem is, Satan is well aware of who Donald Trump is and what he intends to do, which is why he’s trying to cause as many problems for him as possible in order to hinder his plans. That’s the only logical explanation there is, since I think everybody’s well aware that this strong of a resistance to Trump as president – it’s been almost 5 months since the election – it’s just not natural. We still have protests and near riots throughout the country, which in itself is proof enough that there is something or someone unholy behind all of it. Another proof of what I’m talking about is the simple fact that rational people, regardless of whether they’re religious or not, would never go against God’s will. Well, at least not naturally and instinctively. All of this keeps pointing to Satan yet again.”
“As a matter of fact and while we’re on the subject – frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised at all to learn that Barack Obama actually is Satan, only in human form. As far as I’m concerned, he’s got all the traits; he’s half-black, which is to say, his skin is soiled, he’s exceptionally well educated and articulate, which goes perfectly with the Devil’s reported ability of seducing the masses, and most importantly, he’s been making all the wrong moves during the 8 years of his presidency. If I didn’t know any better, I would think the people of America have gotten so stupid that they wouldn’t recognize a demon of the underworld if it came up and stabbed them in the butt with his pitchfork. Luckily, we’re in less of a risk now that the demon is out of the White House. In my book, it’s Satan 1:1 God,” the televangelist concluded.
