Pat Robertson on Monday declared that Donald Trump was the “clear winner” of Sunday night’s presidential debate, and the televangelist asserted that the GOP candidate’s admission that he groped women was simply “macho” talk. “Trump was the winner,” Robertson opined on his 700 Club television program. “Basically, the pundits were writing him off.”
The televangelist also argued that God “had a hand” in orchestrating the leaking of the tape of the Republican presidential candidate bragging about being able to “grab women by the p*ssy” simply because he’s famous. “In his infinite wisdom, God must have seen it fit to help Americans realize that Donald Trump is not gay. So, you’ll be safe from God’s wrath if you want to vote for him, which can’t be said about those planning to vote for the feminist and abomination-supporter Hillary Clinton,” Robertson argued.
The 700 Club host admitted that God “could have used some other way to convey his message,” but that it doesn’t matter anymore, since his message was heard “loud and clear.” “You see, I’ve said this a thousand times before, but He never gets it wrong,” Robertson preached. “We may be surprised with the way in which He chooses to deliver the messages he wants us to get, but at the end of the day, He knows what he’s doing.”
“The leaked tape provides undeniable proof for two things: the first is that Donald Trump is exactly the alpha male president this country has been craving for the last 8 years,” he argued. “The second proves without a shadow of a doubt that he is not a homosexual; if anything, he loves the lady parts so much that, in spite of coming out of one such part while being born, he has spent 70 years of his life trying to get back into thousands of other ones. If that’s not a testament to his love of females, I really don’t know what is.”
Robertson continued, “So, I ask you, how can such a man ever be deemed gay? He knows he loves the ladies, God knows he loves the ladies, ladies know he loves the ladies, everybody knows it. Yet, there are those how are envious of his success with the opposite sex, and would love to throw him under the bus by calling him a closeted gay.”
“Now, I’m no professional, but even I know you can’t possibly spend half your lifetime pretending you adore something you actually despise,” he opined. “Well, unless you’re Hillary Clinton pretending to still love Bill.”
“And for all those who are dismissive of God’s obvious support to Donald Trump as the new president, I’d like to say this: the signs are all there, you just have to look closely. How does God communicate to us? By sending us hardships, trouble, mishaps and challenges. Look at Sodom and Gomorrah. Look at 9/11. Look at Obama. And now look at Donald Trump’s leaked tape. It’s all there. You just have to open your eyes,” the televangelist preached.
