Obama Calls For Aggressive Regulation Of Internet Providers: “What’s The World Coming To When One Has To Pay Extra For Premium Porn?!”

“Internet service providers, such as Comcast and Verizon, could soon become heavily regulated by the US government, after President Obama’s request to the FCC to “treat broadband like a public utility as essential as water, phone service and electricity.”

“Telecom and cable firms have indeed fought very vigorously to make sure that their Internet businesses, which are incredibly highly-profitable, remain completely free of government regulation. If the FCC does go forward with such a move, it would have a drastic effect on the aforementioned companies.

“President Obama said in a statement: “I believe the FCC should create a new set of rules protecting net neutrality and ensuring that neither the cable company nor the telephone company will be able to act as a gatekeeper, restricting what you can do or see online.”

The President seems to have a particular personal interest in “maintaining the so-called “net neutrality”, which is otherwise known as the principle that all Internet traffic should be treated equally.

In an interview with Newslo, moments after “President Obama landed in Beijing, where he will be participating in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit, he openly said: “I know that I probably sounded aggressive, but I had good reason. Think about it – you’ve got companies making money on something that was designed to be free. It outrageous and I won’t stand for it.”

The President also added “what is this world coming to when you’re required to pay extra to gain access to certain porn sites that offer premium and HD videos? Sure, I don’t have a problem with legitimate businesses and am a firm believer in capitalism, but the Internet was meant to be free, complete with all the information and contents it offers to billions of people. But, charging extra for premium interracial porn? That just gets a brother angry, you know!”
