Rush Limbaugh Warns Listeners of Pope’s Secret Marxist Agenda

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – Nationally Syndicated Radio Talk Show Host Rush Limbaugh this week spent much of his program warning his listeners of what he claimed was Pope Francis’ ‘Secret Marxist Agenda.’

“The Pope, ladies and gentlemen, is back saying – demanding – a legitimate redistribution of wealth,” he said. “That’s Marxism, that’s socialism. That’s not charity.”

According to Limbaugh, Pope Francis’ recent call for governments to do more to stem the rise of income inequality and help those less fortunate is only the first phase of a secret Marxist plan to control the world. “He wants your money, and he’s trying to use jackbooted UN thugs to pry it away from you,” warned Limbaugh.

He was referring to the Pope’s appearance last week before U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the heads of major U.N. agencies in which he warned that wealth inequality promoted a “culture of death” which went against Catholic teachings. “A contribution to this equitable development will also be made both by international activity aimed at the integral human development of all the world’s peoples and by the legitimate redistribution of economic benefits by the State,” said Pope Francis, “as well as indispensable cooperation between the private sector and civil society.”

“What the heck is he even saying with all of that?” asked Limbaugh. “Somebody has either written this for him or gotten to him. This is just pure Marxism coming out of the mouth of the pope.”

Limbaugh went on to urge his listeners to abandon the Catholic Church and join Limbaugh as a Methodist. “It’s obvious that this Pope is not a proper Christian, what with all his constant prattle about poor people. It’s not our job to help the poor. Jesus was poor and nobody helped him. Does the Pope think today’s poor are better than Jesus?” he asked. “What, what, what, you think I’m getting in trouble here? What have I said that isn’t true? What have I said that is politically incorrect, besides all of it?”
