In a video that is attracting lots of attention on social media, a bikini-clad Tallahassee mom is seen screaming at black teens on the street, telling them they should have “stayed in Africa,” before going on a rant about late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. According to the Express, the unidentified and apparently drunken woman was recorded back in March, smoking a cigarette and screaming obscenities at the passing black teens who caught it all on video. Pointing at the group, she addresses what she calls the “black b*tches,” saying, “You all should have stayed in Africa. And you can go back there, it’s free. You know you can go back to Africa, if you want to. And you can take your Washington and Jefferson last names.”
After locating the woman, she agreed to an interview with Fox News, although she requested anonymity. When asked to comment on the incident, she said that she was feeling “very exposed” when the group of African-American teens had spotted her on the street, and that she didn’t approve of the way some of the boys were sizing her up. “I was just minding my own business with my daughter, when, out of the blue, this bunch of black kids come out of nowhere and start staring at me very inappropriately. I mean, my daughter was standing right here, so the whole situation was even more embarrassing,” she said.
“Now, you have to understand, I’m a woman and I’ve had my share of men, and just the way those boys were looking at me, there was something in their eyes. I know that look, but it was very inappropriate, especially because I could tell they were looking at me like they were my masters and they wanted to make me their slave or something, and I didn’t like that one bit,” the woman said. “So I started acting crazy trying to get them to go away and I thought they might get scared if I started using profanity, but with today’s technology, I should have known better. One of them pulled out her phone and started recording me, and then I was like ‘f*ck it, I might as well go all out.’
She continued, “But I just want to say, it is not pleasant for a mature woman like me to be viewed by much younger men of another race with eyes full of lust, it’s not appropriate at all, especially because, like I said, my daughter was right there. I mean, I don’t hate black people at all, I have many black friends, but I’m a lady and I don’t take kindly to being perceived like a piece of meat. With all due respect to black people, but my white skin is reserved for white eyes only and that’s my choice, I have every right to choose that.”
“At the end of the day,” the woman also said, “black teens ought to know that that’s no way to stare at white people. I mean, if they had done that some 400 years ago, I could have gotten them in a lot of trouble if I wanted to. All I’d have to do is yell ‘rape’ and police officers would be there instantly, they would arrest them and take them away to be lynched. But I mean them no harm; I just want it to be known that no black man can ever stare at me like that again, because I will react accordingly next time. White men, though, y’all are welcome. And interracial people…well, I don’t know. I suppose I’ll have to talk to you first, you know, to see what you’re like. But generally, I don’t have a problem with interracial dudes at all. Y’all can be so cute sometimes,” she concluded.
