Ted Cruz Refusing DNA Test To Determine Whether “Maury” Guest Is His Illegitimate Daughter

A woman on the high-drama tabloid TV show shared a striking resemblance with the GOP presidential candidate, and the Internet had a field day with the likeness. A screenshot of the Cruz lookalike – who was a guest on Monday’s episode entitled “5 Men Tested…Will I Find My Daughter’s Father Today?” – spread online after it was posted to a pro-Donald Trump Reddit account this week.

Meanwhile, it would seem that Republican Presidential candidate Ted Cruz is struggling to maintain a strictly political pre-election rhetoric, as numerous reporters have started questioning him about the woman featured as his “biological daughter,” known only by her first name – Searcy. “I am really not going to talk about that here. We are here to talk about what we can do for our country and my role here is strictly as a politician and nothing else,” Sen. Cruz said Friday, answering a question from the crowd of around 600 people at a campaign stop in Williamsport, PA.

“I absolutely have nothing to do whatsoever with the woman in question, I do not know her, I have never heard of her, and I most certainly am not going to undergo a DNA test to determine whether or not she is my biological daughter,” Cruz told media outlets after his speech in Williamsport. “It is nice to have someone else out there who is as good-looking as me, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that we are related. God works in mysterious ways and if he chose to bless someone else with these kind of hot genetics, then that is His decision and we must respect it as such. Because He knows best.”

The Republican presidential candidate also argued, “To claim that the woman in question is my daughter just because she and I look alike would be like saying Donald Trump is a good choice for President just because he is an American – both of those claims are utterly insane. Therefore, no DNA test is going to prove anything other than the fact that I am genetically preordained to have Mad Cow disease, but that’s another story. Now, if you have no more questions, you’ll have to excuse me. I just got some smokin’ hot pictures of Melania Trump and those aren’t going to look at themselves, if you know what I mean.”
