Jimmy Kimmel is returning to late-night TV on Tuesday with Jimmy Kimmel Live! after last week’s sudden suspension. According to a source close to the show, Kimmel plans to directly address the uproar sparked by his monologue about MAGA reactions to Charlie Kirk’s assassination — a controversy that fueled heated political debate.
However, not all viewers will be able to watch his comeback. Sinclair Broadcasting, which controls more than 30 ABC affiliates in states including Washington, D.C., California, Texas, Florida, and Illinois, has announced it will not air the show. Nexstar, another large station owner, confirmed it will also continue preempting the program across its ABC affiliates.
For those who do have access, Jimmy Kimmel Live airs on ABC at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 CT. Fans can also stream it through Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, DirecTV, ABC.com, or catch extended clips on YouTube.
Tuesday’s return episode will feature actor Glen Powell as the main guest, with music by Sarah McLachlan. The rest of the week’s lineup includes Ethan Hawke, Lisa Ann Walter, Yungblud, Peyton Manning, Oscar Nuñez, and Alex G, keeping the show packed with star power despite the ongoing broadcasting dispute.
